General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here you are having erosive gastritis as per history by endoscopy findings....

For that you had been prescribed lansoprazole and than replaced by famotidine..

Famotidine is also effective in reducing acid secretion but it is not as effective as proton pump inhibitor

If cost is issue than omeprazole like another drug from the same group can be prescribed...

Complete the course of antacid drug for two to four week according to prescribed duration

Avoid excess spicy foods and smoking..

Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach

Take care

Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind

Hope your concern solved
