Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
on my bald head i have what appears to be acne but I ve tried over the last year clindamicin, metro gel, mupirocin, retina A, glycol acid. I heard on Dr radio about a condition that is not an infection as acne but over production of oil/sebum. what is that called? what do I do about it?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.
Clindamycin and retina A are usually given to treat acne on face, so you can use it again. other precautions to be taken - wash face frequently with facewash Drink water as much as you can Avoid oily foods
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards Dr. Hiren
