How Can Acne On The Cheeks Be Treated?

I m 28 and now having the worst luck with acne it s wasn t like this when I was a teenager I would get a couple bigs pimples when on ot near my monthly cycle and had small black heads here and there but now I get a ton of these little skin colored (not red or dark) bumps and mostly on mid to lower cheeks that make my face rough and bumpy I ve tried so meany different products and haven t had any luck it makes me not want to leave my house could you please tell what causes these these little skin colored monsters and how and what I should do to get my smooth healthy back thank you!

Hello,
This certainly sounds like a hormonal-based type of acne. It may respond to something specific to that, such as some of the birth control pills or a drug call spironolactone. If you prefer not to take oral medications, a topical antibiotic mixed with benzoyl peroxide (which helps to reduce antibiotic resistance) or a topical retain-a cream may help. Barring that, and if it is is severe, there is always Accutane, but his tends to have several annoying side effects (and you'd have to be on the birth control pill anyway). Hope this helps!
