How Can A Skin Cut Wound Be Treated?

Hello I have a question about a cut from a razor that happened a week ago. It doesn t seem to be healing. A yellow cloudy tone without discharge is how I would describe my cut. I would say the cut us deep for a razor cut. I basically peeled my ankle. I have been treating it with neosporin which is a pain relievening/first aid antibiotic cream. I now notice the skin on the wound is yellow and red around the outer layer of the cut. Would you say it is infected?

You have to drain it if and where there is pus. So just start pressing the ct from farther outside to inwards and keep wiping any thick creamy ooze with a sterile cotton or gauge piece. Then the best course is to soak the cut in liquid Hydrogen Peroxide and do the dressing with a Fusidin 20mg/g crème that is available widespread. Hydrogen Peroxide is a bit burning-sensation giving antiseptic but will be good if as you describe your wound is infected.

All the best.
