Hi...I noticed that there is a polyp of some sort growing underneath my tongue. It is approx. 3-4 mm in diameter and length. It is red-ish with a white tip and can be flipped around using my tongue. There is no pain, I had noticed this about 3 days ago and, although it hasn t gotten any larger, brings about some concern. I am an ex-smoker/tobacco chewer (10 years) and no longer drink nor use drugs. Would you have any idea what this may be? It seems to be pretty common considering how many people have posted with the same issue. Thanks. Johnny
You are right being it very common because it is very common and present in ALL human. It is the normal anatomy of the mouth. Just relax and stop checking your mouth, at least for this thing. And continue your NO SMOKING habit so that you should not get anything which is NOT normal anatomy.
