Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a bad rash in my groin area that won t go away. The one thing that seems to work temporarily s Lotrimin spray for jock itch, but I am a woman, overweight, with the rash just under my belly and in the creases of my thighs. I have tried many things HELP!!!
It seems you have heat rashes which are common in women who use tight clothes and nylon underwear. You have been using an antifungal medication which has temporarily calmed the affected area but heat rushes need some actions to prevent the risk factors that cause them.
Wear soft pyjamas only without any tightening underwears. Try aloe vera gel or calamine lotion in the affected area. Use baby powder after shower and you can take special products for heat rushes for women in pharmacy like Aveeno and Johnson's or other if these are not found in your country.
Hope this was helpful for you.
