Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, the treatment depends upon location of impingement of nerve as if it's between two bones plates or scrapping both might be needed however if it's between bone and soft tissue, the reduction surgery around the pressure point might help to release the nerve and followed by anti inflammatory drugs to reduce swelling thus further decreasing the surrounding pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
