Hello,

An anal fissure can be treated medically and surgically also. Since I am in the surgical field, I would recommend you to go for surgical solutions than the medical.

Surgical options are permanent solution to your problems and the recurrent rate is lesser compared to the medical management.

Just have a word with any general surgeon and get your fissure repaired, if it is indicated under spinal anesthesia as a day care surgery and then within a week you will be all fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
