How can a mosquito bite be treated?

Hello! I have gotten a mosquito bite 2 days ago. Today it is turning colour, red to white then red then white and so on, changing every 2 seconds. I have tried feeling my heartbeat and observing the bite, but they do not go at the same time. I ll like to know if this is harmful

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I understand your concern. Some advice that I can give you are:

1) Don’t scratch.
2) Wash the area with soap and water.
3) Put an ice pack on the bite.
4) Take an over-the-counter antihistamine.
5) Apply calamine lotion or anti-itch cream.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help.

Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
