How Can A Fractured Clavicle Bone Be Treated?

Hi , I fractured my clavicle about a little over 6 weeks now which was November 20. I feel very little to no pain at all in the area it was fractured. The doctor said I could start lifting after a total of 6-8 weeks. Do you know what exercises I could do as of now that help strengthen my muscles like pushups or something? (I have 10 pound dumbells at home just in case)

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can do physiotherapy which is helpful to strengthen the muscles. Exercise is beneficial for you. Gradual increase in weight lifting is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
