How Can A Cyst In The Kidney Be Removed?

I have a cyst on my right kidney, I have had 3 - t scans, as the specialist was really watching to see if it was growing. My recent CT scan, showed that it grew app 3 ml or cm. I was referred to a surgeon in calgary, n he wants to do renal biopsy. He says that the tumor, is 80% cancer n 20% not. If it is maligant, he will operate . I m understanding that only partial of Mt kidney will b removed. Would it b better to gave my kidney removed

thanks for posing your query to hcm.
treatment of tumor are always surgical as it do not regress with medication ,
however radiotherapy can be given in some tumor .but the final decesion is based upon report of biopsy , If it is a malignant tumor and not in advanced stage surgical removal is best option . I suggest you to consult a oncosurgeon for expert opinion .
