How Can A Buttock Pimple Which Is Painful And Itchy Be Treated?

Hi, i have a polical cousin that just came from El Salvador and we noticed that she cant sit for a long time. we asked her and she said she has this type of mold(pimple) between her butt chicks. we got really worried , because she is 12 years old. the mold is hard and about 2 inches wide she said its painful and itchy.. we ll like to know what is it? and what is the treatment?? please

Hi

It could be an abscess deeply seated. Please consult a general surgeon where incision and drainage can be done. If pus is there, culture will be sent from the wound and be treated accordingly with appropriate antibiotics.
