How Can A Bruised Elbow Be Treated?

I had a terrible accident last month. I had a bad fall and scrapped my forearm under my elbow. A bruise developed. It has gotten much worse. It is now much larger and darker. For the past few days I developed another somewhat looking bruise below that original bruise. This new bruise is reddish in color and gets larger every day. Today I noticed there was a big green and yellow bruise beside the red bruise. Neither the red or green so called bruises hurt and I have no idea where they came from.

Hi,

Bruises are nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin that develops after a trauma.

Nothing much to worry as it will settle by itself.

As of now, you can apply ice packs for faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
