Hi,

Noted the history about your 7 year old daughter having innumerable pus cells in urine test, has fever, Doctor advised urine culture and sensitivity test.
Sine there is fever you have to give her Paracetamol as per the weight to tackle fever and body ache.
Antibiotic for urinary tract can be started the moment the sample is given for lab and no need to wait for 2 days.
If the given antibiotic is shown to be good for the bacteria present then to be continued for at least 7 day.
To be continued if there is clinical improvement even though it is not indicated by the test.
To change over to another antibiotic if there is no clinical response and/or otherwise indicated by culture and sensitivity reports.
Plenty of oral fluids.
Bed rest for good recovery.
Also to get the blood tests for CBC to see whether the WBC count is raised or not, Kidney function test.
Ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis to see for any anatomical variation and stones in urinary tract and get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
