How Can I Deal With The Mood Swings Of My Husband?

My husband is sweet and lovey dovey, then does a 180, where he hates and resents me. These episodes take me a few days to get over, to where I can feel love toward him. If he does this frequently, it can put me out of reach for a month or so, as my love rebuilds itself (because I truly love him) but can t abide by this treatment. How to deal with this?
