How Can HSV Infection Be Treated?

Hello, I have a question about hsv2 specifically. So my roommate has hsv 2 in his mouth, and recently I had finish his leftover meal with the same utensils he had used. I ate the meal about an hour after him and i didn t know about his hsv2. Is it possible that I had contracted hsv2? Thank you

HSV1 can be transmited be touching infected saliva, mucous membranes, or skin.It can be spread through kissing or sharing objects such as toothbrushes or eating utensils.
HSV2 can be transmited by sexual intercourse in general.
