How Can Crohn’s Disease Be Treated?

I I have chron’s disease and need advice On taking k tabs for treating my condition . I am 88 years old and have had Chrone’s disease for approximately 45 years. I had surgery Several times over the years and have Avery small bowel and no colon. I have lived a interesting life and been able to control the ‘flair ups” most times but it seem my soma h is getting smaller and have to limit my food intake . When I have a “flair up” now, a full bowel pushes on my Lungs and I do not get onough oxygen. My doctor has pre scribed k tabs. I looked at the info on k tabs on your website and would like take them to provide the best result Do you have any suggestions that would help me? My email address is YYYY@YYYY Thank you. Fay. Le Roy

I would recommend you to get your potassium levels checked before taking k tabs
keeping your age in mind it can have an adverse effect on your heart like rythm abnormalities and all
do get a baseline ecg done and serum potassium levels done before starting the tabs

in case of any more questions feel free to revert back

best regards
