How Can COPD Be Treated?

Hello, I have stage 4 COPD. I have heard of a treatment used world wide which can extend life by 5 or more years. It is a valve placement therapy one manufacturer is Spiration. The treatment applied for FDA approval in 2008 and is still not approved. I am searching for reputable sites outside of the US for information but as yet have had no luck. There are treatment facilities in Heidelburg, Groningen , and london but i can not find the links to communicate. Can you assist me?

Spiration is a valve system that has to be placed in your respiratory tract to test severe form of COPD or emphysema. The benefits has not been proven yet and it is still under study.

It is not approved for clinical use in any of the countries and the trials are still going on. You can rely on other modalities of the treatment until the spiriting system get approved.
