How Can COPD Be Treated?

Hi I have been diagnosed with COPD I have never smoked .ever. My question is that I was given an inhaler by a DR. and I developed a sour throat. I can t spell it. its not in the thought but in the back on the upper back of my mouth. Did that come from the inhaler. It has steroids in the inhaler and I can t do steroids. Which one should I be taking for an inhaler. Excuse the spelling. I was given something for the throat .I took it all and it has come back.

Hi,
sorry for your suffering,
COPD not only caused by smoking , there are other causes also.
Inhaler is very effective for copd patient.
Steroid inhaler reduce allergic, inflammatory process.

Its very unusual to corelate with inhaler and sour throat.Do gurgling after use of steroid inhaler.

i think you should consult with an ENT specislist for further evaluation.
thanks
