History Of Nasal Septum Deviation Operation. Breathing With Left Nostril Only. No Mucus. Opinion?

Greetings sir,
I had nasal septum deviation with bent on the RIGHT side and i got operated on it 7 years back. The problem for me for the past 3 or 4 years is i am breathing only with my left nostril. my right nostril is not taking part in breathing even though there is no sign of any mucos or any other thing.
I know breathing takes place with only one nostril at a time with 1 or 2 hour cycles. but in my case there are no cycles . only left nostril working continously.
please tell me have you ever seen this type of case.

Cosmetic & Plastic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Madam/Sir

Often times septal deviation is not the only reason for difficulty breathing from the nose. Another common reason may be inferior turbinate hyperthrophy which may happen at the same time. If this exists, surgery for turbinate reduction can easily be perfomed.

You need a formal intranasal exam by and ENT or plastic surgeon.

take care
