Hi my name is Joel Albon and I am a 29 yeAR old man going to the doctor for drug rehab therapy. I am currently on suboxone 2 8mg strips a day. I will soon start the winging off process Soon. Me and my mother and doctor have talked about me having ADHD and I do belive I have this condition and so does my doctor and he wants to begin treatment. My hold back there is if he prescribes me ADHD medicine my insurance will drop my coverage on my suboxone wich is over $50.00 a day . The only way for my insurance to keep me covered is to have a Psychiatrist write a letter stating the fact that I am ADHD. So my question would be how can I go about getting such a letter. My insurance doesn't cover Psychiatry care and it would cost me aroud $500- $800 just to go to the group to be aproved to see a psychiatrist and get my letter. There seem like there should be an easier less expensive way to get this letter for my insurance. Thankyou very much for any information on my issue
