Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my name is Chad. I would like to ask a few questions. My mother passed away last year of Gastric cancer in a different state. I went thru depression, and other mental side effects after the loss, maybe a little PTSD and separation anxiety. I made it past the one year mark just a few months ago and haven’t been feeling very good lately due to general stress and anxiety. I was thinking about checking myself into the hospital and having some blood drawn to see where i am at and if I might need to get on any medicine. I went thru a real hard time last year and am just now feeling better. What does a person have to do to check himself into the hospital? What complications will I face if I don’t have any health insurance? I will be alone without anyone to check me in or watch over me while im there.
I have checked myself into a couple of hospitals alone before, this time im not actually sick or ill, im a just one year past my mom dying of cancer and thought it would be a good thing to go to the hospital.
