Hi, got stabbed a fortnight ago and was stitched then with switchers. They (switchers) were removed after 10days. Now the wound has healed but my concern is that there's a lump above the wound. There's no sign of infection. What could be the cause of the lump?

Hi, about 2 1/2 months ago I fell and landed on a broken beer bottle on the sidewalk. I got three stitches at the base of my hand and the ER doc said he thinks they got most of the glass out. But though the lacerations have healed over without signs of infection, there are 2 spots that are painful if light pressure is a applied and worse, if I move my hand or thumb in a certain way, there is a stabbing tearing pain that goes away as fast as it comes. I assume this is glass embedded deep under the scar. A couple of slivers of glass worked their way our about a month ago, should I wait and see if the deeper glass comes to the surface or could this evolve into something more serious. I do not have insurance and I am still paying off the ER visit, so if there is no danger, I will probably wait it out,

Hi doctor. I am concerned about one thing and need medical advise. I got 16 stitches on my lip inside and outside about 3 weeks ago. The stitches healed up about 1 week after the accident. But now my lip is still swollen and it looks like its gotten even more swollen. Is this normal when it comes to lip healing after stitches or should I take action ? Hope to hear a response I d highly appreciate it

Hi, 3 days ago i got all 4 wisdom teeth removed as 3/4 of them where impacted. If it matters i am 18 and the surgeon stitched the sickets with dissovable stitches. They are healing well but since yesterday i noticed a small flap of gum on 3 of the areas where my wisdom teeth where removed. Each flap has gotten bigger today (its possible that theyre just swollen though). The problem with this is each flap has grown over the tooth next to them, so im basically chewing on them throughout the day. Will this cause any problems? What should i do? And why are those flaps there? They seem to be mostly secured by the stitches
