Hi. My name is Ella. I'm 21 years old. Here's what happened:
- A week ago I took one Percocet (I took it in halves about 45 minutes to an hour between each half)
- not too long after that I was washing my hair in the shower then all of a sudden I got super hot, I feel like I'm going to throw up, I get tunnel vision, and I see stars (all of these symptoms happened all at the same time)
- I passed out (everything that happens after this happened while I still unconscious)
- my girlfriend was holding me in a sitting position on the toilet seat
- she says that my left arm got really stiff and then I fell off the seat and hit my head really hard on the tile floor
- I was unconscious for much less than 20 minutes (still unsure how long)
- when I came to I was confused, tired, unaware of what happened
- it's been a week and I'm still having slight headaches across the from of my head and behind me eyes everyday (but they only last for a minute maybe)
- i can't sleep regularly, my eyes get slightly blurry every now and then, I did have a pressure feeling in my head but that's passed now I believe, I get irritable easily
My question is; is this a mild concussion that I can relax and heal up on my own, or is this erupts enough to go to the doctor?? I have no insurance so it's an expensive visit and I don't want to go if there is nothing that can be done. I have done so much research over the past week and most of it tells me I'm going to be able to heal on my own by finding ways to relax on my own, like yoga or meditation.
