Hi, I need help figuring out what is wrong with me. First off I'm a 26 yr old veteran with a combat deployment. I was a combat engineer and always carried excessive amounts of equipment ie 160-210 lbs on my back and shoulders. My left shoulder required a bankart repair upon my return for multiple dislocations. This was 2010. Since I got off active duty in 2011 I had what I thought and several other doctors thought were nerve impingements in my neck. These popped up maybe 3-4 times a year. Fast forward to 2015 I have tingling in my arm almost daily that goes to my hands. I have severe pain in my neck lower and upper neck. The worst pain is right in between my shoulder blades. It gets so bad when I try to lift either arm after a long day at work or doing yard work they give out. I repair industrial punch presses for a living so I turn Wrenches all day. I have noticed in the past 8 months I tend to drop a lot of tools and not even notice it's slipping. When working our in front of me or overhead for more then 10 mins my muscles in my back will go into spasms to the point I want to puke. I have had an MRI and x-ray of my cervial spine and the doctor found d some stenosis in the c-5 and c-6. Still only wants to give me Mobil and cyclobenzaphrine. I've been taking this combo since 2011 and have had no luck it's just getting worse. I asked if maybe there was a way it was in my thorasic spine and he wouldn't even budge at the thought of doing even an xray. I'm in pain daily and need some serious help. This has effected not only work but home as well.
