Hi, I have severe depression and ADHD. I have struggled through out my life with both, and I’ve had a hard problem excepting my diagnosis and staying on my prescribed medications because of this and the weight gain that seems to come with meds. I completely stopped taking all my medications for four months, which landed me into another hospital stay. Prior to stopping, my meds I was taking Zenzedi and it seem to control both. This time around my psychiatrist prescribed Adderall 15 mg. twice daily, and this seemed to work pretty well. I recently moved and had to change from Walgreens to Walmart to get my prescriptions but have noticed that with the change in pharmacies, the medication also seemed to change and does not work at all for me. My ADHA is out of control and my depression has been really bad. My question is, does each pharmacy cary different brands and could this be why I am no longer feel the effects? I did notice that I am taking a generic for Adderall that looks different fro the one I received when filled at Walgreens. Or could this simply be because I stopped my meds for such long time and had nothing in my system for four months, that when I ended up in the hospital in bad shape and given Adderall I was just experiencing a slight bit of the relief from it because I was in such bad shape?
