Hi Dr.,
My 24 year old daughter has a painful cankor sore in her mouth on her gum. Is there a topical medicine or any oral medicine that will clear it up and relieve the discomfort she is having. I have suggested holding Tums or Millk of Magnesia tablets on it, but she says it is too painful.
