Hello, I believe I may have hyperextended my knee 10 days ago. In the beginning I thought my knee came out of place, but now I am not sure. I was seen in Urgent care and advised I may have a torn Ligament, but since I have not had an MRI yet I do not know. I treated with the RICE method, I just stopped using the crutches and began walking with a hinged knee brace, but I hear a popping sound, and it is painful and my knee feels very unsteady. Is there anything I can do at home until I do have an MRI?
