Hello
I am a 14 year old girl and I have found a soft squishy lump on the edge of my anus. It is about pea sized and causes no pain and when I push on it it causes mild discomfort. When I am on my period tho it is sore and itchy. I am freaking out that it is cancer but I've had it for several months now and no further symptoms or pain has emerged. I have been meaning to go to the doctor about it but I feel extremely uncomfortable with the idea of an examination. Bit as I said before it is really worrying me. It is also skin coloured and fleshy. I was wondering if it could be something to do with an anal fissure? Although it doesn't hurt. I would really appreciate some advice and comfort.
