Hello Dr. David,

My son is 31 years old and currently unemloyed. Over the last 7-8 years he has been in and out of jobs.He did his MBA from Bangalore and his PGDM in MARKETING Analytics from UK.His problem is he does not stick to a job for more than 4-5 months.He feels he is more capable than his bossess and also gets bored with the job easily.WHEN HE is in the job and out of jobs his parents and elder brother who are well placed have been supporting him.He is in the habit of drinking once in a while when he does not see any reasoning and it appears that he has very low self esteem.He adores his elder brother and he has aways been his source of strength emotionally and financially.RECENTLY HIS ELDER BROTHER TO BRING HIM ON TRACK stopped supporting him financially and asked him a find a job and become self reliant.Now he blames his parents and brother for everything going wrong in his life.He alsois very passionate about wild life and has been working with an NGO who hardly pay him anything and again his parents and brother have to finance him.What is disturbing is that with this money he drinks with friends and plays snooker and wastes all the money .HE is in thehabit of telling lies to earn sympathy and get money.During chilhood days he was the brighter of the two brothers.We recentlyon 18th of this month sent him to his cousin in Abu Dhabi to find a job.On the day he landed there he boozed and created a scene with his brother on phone and took the next flight back.He is back in India but yet to reach home. He is in Mumbai now.What can I do and how can I bring him around ? Please advise.
