Heavy Bleeding During Periods, Bleeding Twice In A Month. Have Cyst On Ovary

My daughter is 38yrs old and had her period last week and to day started over again. Her main concern now is that she is flowing quite heavily and is a bit worried. She also has a cyst on her ovary that apparently may burst before her period or during not quite sure. She has not taken care of this matter and has not visited her doctor for quite some time. For now her main concern is why she is having a heavy period when she just finished one???

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

At her age main cause for irregular bleeding is hormonal imbalance. these conditions are treated by taking hormonal pills. Consult gynecologist for examination and prescription of medication.
If your symptoms continues even after medications needs further evaluation for and endometrial conditions like endometrial D&C.

Hope this helps you
