Headaches, Lightheadedness And Numbness In The Hand. Is This Due To Long Hours Of Standing?
I've been having headaches the last few days and light headed. I recently started a manufacturing job and have been standing for 8 - 12 hours a day. I'm also using my hands and fingers constantly all day and now my right hand sometimes is numb or falls asleep. Not sure if it is all related to the new job or something else.

Headaches, Lightheadedness And Numbness In The Hand. Is This Due To Long Hours Of Standing?
Hi, Since you have chronic headache you should consult neurophysician for clinical examination and CT scan brain to rule out structural brain lesion. Numbness of hand may be due to entrapment of nerve due to using hands continuously in same position at new work place. Have multivitamins and check blood sugar and thyroid profile Hope this will help you Regards Dr Sandhya Manorenj Neurologist Hyderabad
