Headache After Periods, Not Enough Sleep, Iron 12 Point. Does Iron Cause Fuzziness Or Tiredness In Head?

Hallo, am jules. After my monthly periods, I get headaches that tend to be in the back of my head, right where I had brain steam surgery about 10 years ago. I sleep but its like I don t get enough of it - I also get very thirsty even though I try to drink a lot - I recently had my iron count check right before my periods and it was over 12 points - what could be causing this tiredness or fuzziness in my head?

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
It is possible that you have menstrual migraine, where symptoms such as headache, dizziness, etc occur in close association to menstrual cycles.
You would benefit from migraine preventive medications. Please consult a neurologist.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
