Having Infected By Sebaceous Cyst

Hi I have an infected sebaceous cyst which is draining. I went to the MD and was put on cleocin. Now the area beside it burns and is red. Motrin helps. The area is also hot. This is on my back. Should I wait until Monday to get it rechecked or go to the emergency room. This is a Saturday. I essentially feel better unless the Motrin has worn out. Had chills earlier in week but now do not. Drainage was horrible smelling but is much less foul. I was afraid I was getting some type of secondary infection. I wonder if the redness to the side if there is some of the drainage trapped in that area. At first I thought it was red from tape but I m not using tape there now. Thanks

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern if this is really sebaceous cyst then this need to be excise completely with the sebaceous material, and with the drain of pus with the right surgical intervention and proper antibiotic this heals rapidly for this you need to see the surgeon, mean while you can continue the pain killer medicine and antibiotic, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
