Having dizziness. Is it the symptoms of vertigo ?

Hi, I feel very giddy sometimes and this has been going on for 2 months, these 2 days i feel a little bit more giddy then usual. I feel imbalance, but only last for afew secs, sometimes i feel like i m riding on a boat. I think my head/scalp hurts abit too especially when i pull my hair . It hurts when i press hard on it too, i don t know whether the dizziness is related to my head/scalp or not. i went to my family doctor and he said it is vertigo . hmm what could it really be?

Dear rachel

Vertigo is a condition in which somebody feels a sensation of whirling or tilting that causes a loss of balance. But what you getting is not typical vertigo. You should get evaluate yourself .. and get few blood tests too. It has lots of causes i cant tel exactly what you are having. better consult ENT specialist
