Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hi, Balaji

I read carefully all your mother concerns and exam results and I am sorry for her situation.

If I were her treating doctor I would recommend
- fecal analysis like ocult fecal blood, coproculture, ova , parasite,
- abdominal ultrasound
- colonoscopy
- biochemical exam
-blood work

With regards to X-ray results it seems like chronic intestinal disease ( smoking, hard work etc).
So at the end I suggest consult your mother with gastroenterologist and pneumologist ( lung doctor).

Hope it is helpful
