Have Small Red Bumps On Clitoral Hood, Swelling, Itching. What It Is? What To Do?
I have small red bumps on my clitoral hood and it has been swelling and itching, mostly around the entrance of my vagina and around the clitoris area. It s been burning and itching for about 4 or 5 days and I m not sure what it is or what to do. Help?

Your symptoms could be due to bacterial infection or herpes. On examination by a qualified doctor confirmation can be done. If you had unprotected intercourse, the possibility of sexually transmitted disease is high.The risk of the infection also depends on whether the person with whom you were involved was actually infected or not. The blisters are usually present in herpes infection but it is not a sure sign. It is best to wait for the results for confirmation. Please consult your Gynecologist to confirm the same and to discuss the necessary investigations to undergo and treatment options.
