Have Pain And Stiffness In Leg. Had An Accident Earlier. No X-ray Or Scan Till Now. What To Do?

My ankle was ran over in 2012 and I needed casts for a bone fracture. The fracture healed, but I now have super stiffness at night and quit taking pain stuff except lyrica or tylenol.. Could the remaining pain be a ligament? Could it be a torn muscle. My skin around the ankle is all blue veins around it after 12 months and I suspect nobody will offer an opinion without more xrays and another MRI. Its a tough one I know.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The persistent pain and stiffness in the leg after an injury could be related to a bone injury or a soft tissue injury. This needs an MRI scan for a proper diagnosis and further treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
