Have Nodule On Lower Lobe Of Lungs. Had Uterern Cancer And Dealing Thyroid Cancer. Concerned?
I just found out that I have a 4mm nodule onmy lower lobe of my lungs. I am alittle concern due to the fact that I just got over having uterern cancer and dealing with thyroid cancer at the same time, stillwaitng for my iodine treament for the thyroid cancer to be treated. But with the nodule on the lung should I be concern. I am not a smoker, but what thay say about second hand smoke I guess is true can you help me out here.

Hi, it appears to be the metastasis of the either uterus cancer, or the cancer of the thyroid. So i advise you to consult your oncologist for diagnosis and treatment. If it grows in size it will be difficult to treat the other problems due to lung infections. Thank you.

It doesnt sound like you should be concerned since so small lesion arely indicates malignant disease or metastases. od course it should be followed up and if there is fast growth,you should do CT scan of lungs and liver. uterine cancer rarely metastasis and if you arent smoker i doubt this can be primary lung tumour.
Such nodules usually indicates previous lung infection, fibrosis or calcifications. Wish you good health. Regards
