Hello Dr. Nirja,



I am 26 years old, married 6 months ago. My periods are regural for 3 months, it coms on exact date but in 4th months there is a gap of 15 days.

I got married on 2nd June 2013, I took medicien to pose-pone my periods for marriage, I started to take that medicien from 27th May 2013 till 4th June 2013 for two times a day.



After my marriage I got my period on 7th June I bleed for 5 days. After that in month of July I was expecting my periods on 7th but it was delayed. On 18th July I got a terrible pain in my lower stomach and it was going till down in my right leg, so I took one Imol Plus at night and I was ok on next day there was no pain at all. My in-laws forced us to go to clinic for checkup so I and my husband went to a near by clinic and told all the thing to dr. she advice for sonography and the result was PCO. I was aware that I have PCO before my marriage only my anty told me this, she is working in Gupte Clinic on Bhandarkar Road at Deccan.



But she told me not need to take any medicien untill I am getting periods regularly after 3months the cycle cchanges and thats why is normally end up getting a gap of 15 days after regular period for 3 months.



On 31st July I got my periods and again I bleed for 5 days. On 8th September I got my periods again, then again on 8th of October, but I did not got my periods on 8th Nov till today.

I did the pragnancy test with the kit I'I Can' on 29th Nov, but the result was negative. I and my husband went to the same dr. again with the sonography report dated 1st August 2013. Now she has advice to take the medicien named Deviry for 5days she told that after taking this medicien I will get my periods and she also told me come for checkup on 2nd or 3rd day when I am bleeding. She also gave the medicien named Glyeomet SR for 1 month.



I am not convensed with her as my husband told her that she is bit concern regarding intake of medicien, on this she told that "it is her look out whether she wants to take the medicien or not, my work is to give the medicien and I am giving it, she also include that I will go after six months when it will be out of control".



So, I am not very much satisfied with her, before my marriage there was not so much gap of 1 month, if some thing is the problem she would have explained me. She also asked regarding pragnancy I told her that the result was negative then she suggested the above mediciens.



Can you please help me what should be done I am 100% sure that Iam not pragnent but affaried to take the medicien suggested by her, her name is Mrs. Bina Kamat from Adhitya Birla. I know she is ver experianced Dr. but why should I take her suggested medicien if patients problem is not her look out.



Kindly requesting you to please suggest what should be done.
