Have Indention On The Skull

Hi doctor, I have an indention on the top of my head that I have just noticed in the past week or so, there also one the left side of my head about an 2 inches from my left ear. They don t hurt went pressure is applied, just an odd indention. The indention on my left skull has been there for couple of years, the one that s on my crown just appeared, since I m very focused on my appearance. Should I get a c-scan, because this is making me a little nervous.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for the indention on the skull. There can be multiple possibilities of the indention and a close physical examination is necessary to rule out the exact reason for same.

The only precaution you must follow is not to touch, pinch pop or squeeze any of them other wise it can get infected and can cause complications.

I suggest you to meet preferably a surgeon who can closely examine each area and then give you best suggestion for the treatment of the same.

Take care.
