Have Face Pain, Eye Problem, Tingling, Numbness. What Is It Associated With?
I have been having face pain over the last month, from forehead to jaw, it is mostly on my right side but sometimes is on my left but never on both sides at the same time. I also woke up the last few days with my right eye not wanting to open. my right hand at times feels like I have glove on when nothing is there, tingling numbing. Also both my feet will feel tingling and some numbness
The symptoms that you have mentioned - face pain, inability to open the eye, tingling and numbness over upper limb and lower limb suggests involvement of nerves. There is evidence of neurological problem. Consultation with a neurologist is required. Nerve involvement is seen in systemic diseases like diabetes mellitus. Get your fasting blood glucose done if it has not been done before. If the blood glucose levels are with normal limits, investigations for primary nerve disorder need to be done. Nerve conduction study and nerve evoked potentials are the investigations done for nerve studies. Further work up will be decided by your doctor.
