Have Contraceptive Implant, Get Periods Randomly. How To Stop It?
Hi, I have the contraceptive implant and have had it for a year and a half. I get periods randomly throughout the year every 4 months or so for about a month. I never know when they are going to happen and I m meant to be going on a spa holiday tomorrow but have just came on my period. Is there anything to do now to stop it as my holiday will involve a lot of steam rooms, pools, and jacuzzis. Thanks

None of drugs seem to help in stopping a established period. Periods can be pre or postponed but not possible to stop an established period. Starting on oral contraceptive pill in this cycle may slight help in lesser days of bleeding.
Have a wonderful holiday Take care
