Have A Slipped Disc At L2/3 For 10 Weeks I

Have a slipped disc at L2/3 for 10 weeks
I was prescribed omeprazole 20mgbd
Pregabalin 150mg x2 bd
Diclofenac 75mg SR bd
Paracetamol 1000mg 4 hly.
Codeine 30mg 4hly
Cosmocol 1/2 satches daily.
I have been on this regime for approx. 9 weeks
However I have been having problems with my bowels and breakthrough pain.
I saw another doctor yesterday who changed the regime.
Stopped the diclofenac and replaced with naproxen 500 mg bd
Stopped the codeine and replaced with tramamdol 50 mg to be increased by 50 mg every 3 days as required by the levels of pain. As I saw the doctor yesterday at 7.30 am and commenced the new regime yesterday, however I got up this morning with excruciating this morning in my right leg but after taking the 50 mg tramadol this only lasted until approximately 2.00 pm
Can I take another 50mg this evening to help e through the night thenI can ring my GP in th morning.
Many thanks
