Has Complex Partial Epilepsy With Secondary Generalization. Wetting Bed And Makes Swallowing Noise. What Is It?

my son has complex partial epilepsy with secondary generalisation. he usually has seizures that last around 5 minutes and has them every couple of months. for the last week i have noticed that he has wet the bed every night and is making a very repetitive swallowing noise for a few minutes at a time throughout the night (almost as if he has too much saliva, he is swallowing straight after the last swallow). do you think that these could be seizures too?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Repetitive swallowing movements with bed wetting could be part of seizures. Prolonged video EEG recording, including sleep recording could help in clarifying the diagnosis.
Please discuss these with your neurologist.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
