Mouth Twitching At The Corner Of Lips After Waking Up. What Should Be Done?
Question: My mouth is twitching at the corner of my lips on the left side. It began after I woke up this morning and has continued off and on for the past hour.

The sudden appearance of twitching of left corner of lip as first manifestation can be of a focal (partial epilepsy) or a type of movement disorder.
In some cases it can be benign (harmless) also and is self-limited.
At times, it can be due to electrolyte imbalances like hypocalcaemia, sodium and potassium imbalance too.
Drink plenty of fruit juices and fluids orally.
If it persists, you should consult your primary care physician for evaluation.
