Hard Bubbly Lump Under The Skin, Stinging When Pushed. What Could This Be?
Hey my name is Sean and I am a varsity football player. A few weeks ago I took a helmet to the calf and soon after the game a hard bubbly apeared under all the the skin. It has been there for a few weeks and it stings when I push on it. What is this bubble and what should I do about it?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The hard bubbly lump that you have could be due to a collection of fat cells like lipoma, fibroma or a hematoma after an injury to the area. This is likely to be a benign swelling. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
