Had Protected Sex, Missed Period, Had Brownish Spotting. Possible Reason?
Hi, I was wondering if my girlfriend could at all be pregnant. We had protected sex (no breakage) on june 28th, her period ended June 16th (she's sort of irregular). She has missed her next period from around the expected date after the 16th (she's about 5 days late). She recently experienced brownish spotting. What is going on?

You need not to be worried as you had protected sex.Delayed period do occur in some cases even in ladies having normal periods.
For confirmation you can opt for urinary pregnancy test. Two vertical lines on card show pregnancy.
Ultrasound is the choice for confirmation as urinary pregnancy test is negative or weakly positive in some cases of early pregnancy.
