Had Mild Concussion, Small Fracture On Bone Underneath Eye After Fall. Bled Later, Why?
My 90 year old mother in law fell about a week ago, flat on her face. she had a mild concussion and a small fracture on the bone underneath her eye. She was admitted to the hospital overnight for observation and they did an MRI , catscans etc. and released her the following day advising there was no bleeding . However, for the last few days she has been spitting up blood. The first day it was bright red next day it was a darker red. What could be causing the bleeding?
hello, there might be fracture of her nasal bones. visit an ENT specialist for it. because clotted blood means this i old bleeding which has happened. as her age is 90 they wont suggest much of surgery but take opinion of ENT surgeon take care
