Had Heavy Periods. But This Time It Hardly Flowed. Not Using Any Contraception. Suggestions?

Hi I usually have my period for three days and last month it lasted five days with three heavy flow days. This months I've got my period after twenty eight days as usual but it hardly flowed at all. I am a bit concern as it is the first time I have experienced that. I am married and not using any contraception at present. I have been pregnant only once in my entire life and I am thirty two years old.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

The irregularity in your cycle and periods may be due to variation on hormonal levels due to stress or illness or due to any problem in the uterus.
Since this is the first time you need not to worry if no other problem. Usually you will get your periods normal.

If it repeats then I advice you to get done USG abdomen and pelvis and speculum examination once to rule out any problem. If no abnormality detected then you can be managed using OCP for few cycles.
